How does the tank reach Nigeria?
Sea freight to Lagos (Apapa, Tin Can, Lekki) or Port Harcourt.
Panels are packed on wooden pallets with a packing list per tank and shipped in 20 ft or 40 ft containers or on trucks, depending on the route.
Water supply in Nigeria
Public water supply reaches only part of Lagos, Abuja and other cities, so almost every building has a borehole and overhead or ground storage. Estates, hospitals and factories increasingly replace plastic tanks with larger sectional steel or GRP tanks that last longer and hold more.
Climate and material choice
Hot and humid in the south, dry in the north.
GRP or stainless for drinking water in humid areas; hot-dip galvanized for fire and industry.
Typical uses in Nigeria
Estates, high-rise buildings, hospitals, factories, oil and gas sites.
In Nigeria, buyers search for these tanks as: water tank, overhead tank, steel tank, GRP tank.
